Clinical and anatomical studies of the lymphatic vessels of the brain and spinal cord

The scientific direction of the group of neurologists is aimed at trial the safety of non-drug interventions (using methods of photodynamic exposure, loud sound and others) in the functioning of the blood-brain barrier and cerebral lymphatic system, intravital methods for visualizing transparent lymphatic vessels of the brain of relatively healthy individuals and patients; the clinical effectiveness of non-drug interventions (using methods of photodynamic exposure, loud sound and others) in the functioning of the blood-brain barrier and cerebral lymphatic system of patients suffering from degenerative (Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and others) and other diseases of the nervous system.

The group owns methods and techniques for conducting international randomized placebo-controlled clinical trials conducted in strict accordance with the international ethical and scientific standards of Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Based on the results of the research, scientific provisions will be formulated that are important for clarifying the pathogenesis of degenerative diseases of the nervous system; recommendations on the introduction into clinical practice of safe and effective methods of non-drug interventions in the functioning of the blood-brain barrier and cerebral lymphatic system in order to prevent the development and progression of degenerative diseases of the nervous system.
